Named after the job

Each coffee takes its name from a piece of the work. Starter Strip goes down first. The Tear-Off is for the first layer and the two nobody told you about. Storm Chaser is for hail season and the phone that will not stop. Ridge Cap goes on last and finishes strong, and Punch List is the decaf for the end of the job. Rated like a roof

Instead of a vague roast scale, we use the one roofers already carry around in their heads: roof pitch. The higher the pitch, the darker the roast and the bolder the cup. It runs from an easy 4/12 to a steep 11/12. Here is how the pitch rating works.
